Jesper Skoglund, CFA, CAIA, is a Securitisation Investment Manager at the European Investment Fund (EIF). He structures and invests in senior and mezzanine tranches of cash securitisations—via cash purchases and embedded or bilateral guarantees—as well as synthetic securitisations, with a focus on counterparties based in Northern, Central and Eastern Europe. His work supports EIF’s mandate to expand access to finance for European SMEs and mid‑caps. Jesper brings prior experience across banking, financial consulting, and development finance, spanning the structuring and origination of securitisations and other risk-sharing transactions, credit-portfolio divestments, the design and establishment of alternative lending structures, the setup of covered-bond programmes, and the issuance of financial guarantees for both tranched and non-tranched transactions. He also has extensive experience in managing capital and financial risks under the CRR and Solvency II frameworks.
